pls take a look at these photos... it is kind like a small monitor which it was put on the edge of every table in restaurant. screen touch tech.. just click foods, drinks u like then the waitress/waitre will deliver ur orders. u also can check the sum of ur orders(including how much u had ordered)..... simple, clean, convenience...

japan is a very advance country la... Since you said this is still new in Japan...so i think it will took years for these system to arrived in Malaysia

i have c this system at Sakae Sushi shop... but different is they still use key broad n mouse no like japan advance , touch screen...... haha
yeah agree with taugeh comments, here in M'sia, Sakae Sushi is using electronics order. But, lau beh also lar not touch screen like Jpn so hi-tech !!
